A weekend of fun…
Tomorrow night I’m going to do some maintenance (with a collegue) on our core switches and loadbalancers.
Complete outage! Huray!
I just hope everything goes speedily, so we can get home before 4AM or so… We’ll see what happens.

Hey, i surfed into your site last nite, I like your writing and the way you express yourself, i dropped u a line on icq as well, I am a network/systems admin myself so i can relate to ur blogs.
Anyway, keep up with the writing and drink plenty of redbull for those long nights trying to figure out why bash is better than tcsh (freebsd only) lol…
The box said “Install Win2000, ME XP, RedHat, Fedora or better”.
So I installed FreeBSD.

That’s the kind of comment I like “Lost in Amsterdam”. I don’t think I saw you on ICQ, you were in between spam requesting me to have sex etc ;-)
Like the way you got to install BSD :-)

Lost in Amsterdam just add me to your ICQ list with a description of who you are as a reason for the request or something…

Yes it is ;) it was a project I did a few months ago and its a great domain name, i get traffic for no reason LOL… we built the shopping cart feature on that store and the backend was customized, this backend later i modified and became an awesome piece of software that my company uses. I called it Nemesis because of the time and effort I put into it… i thought I would never be able to complete it.
I am online almost 20 hours a day so, i’ll c u online.
