To turn on a machine? ;-)
Me and $SUN_ENGINEER spent over an hour wondering why the machine that we were testing (neither of us had ever done this before) didn’t generate any output.
The smegging thing was turned off!
He had been pressing the ID led instead of the on/off button :-) (Must admit, I didn’t see the tiny button either, until I called a collegue in panic mode and he insisted I check if the machine was switched on, and in his defence, I must say that he usally worked on bigger machines :-) )
