Body language
A friend and I were talking about the contradicting things men sometimes do. About how their body language can say one thing, their actions say another and their mouth is totally out of tune with the previous two.
It’s up to us women, to filter that, to decide which signals to believe. I would prefer it if we could just only mind body language. Would make things much less complicated.
Mouths can lie, hips can not ;-)
On the other hand, it might make stuff a bit odd, but that’s just because we aren’t used to that *yet*. (really, click it, it’s hilarious)
Body language is our most uncontrolled side. We are honest, for we can not be any other thing. The rest of what we say or do is biased by our long term wishes, our responsiblilities and our trauma’s.
Animals are raw and honest. They show you everything you need to know (if you’re willing and able to read) and they will never hold something back or lie. Humans are different. We have our own hidden agenda’s.
Maybe I should mind both my mouth and body language a bit more when I communicate. I flirt when I don’t intend to, I am rude when I don’t intend to and I am superficial when I am interested. How can we ever send out the right signals if we’re not even sure of what we want to be saying?
Maybe I should sort out what I want before I start complaining about other peoples body language, words and actions saying different things, because right now, I doubt I’m making a lot of sense in that way :-)
