Geek humor

Not only do geeks have great late night humor, but an average Tuesday afternoon can be quite like a Friday one too… 

17:10 <Geek1> I want a new RIPE Service, Girl-Allocations and
              Assignments... just got a dinner-date cancled *grumble*
              why do females always have to get the flu that easily ..
              what do i eat now, damned
17:12 <Geek2> Geek1, it's called 'dating' and 'marrige'; but just like
              with RIPE, you need to justify your request before you
              get one allocated, and then every time you try to get it
              assigned, you have to provide even more details.
17:14 * Geek1 already got his PI Assignment ("wife"), i need some
              Allocations now though
17:16 <Geek2> Geek1, I don't think you can request more allocations,
              make full utilization of what's assigned to you instead.
              You can come ask for more when you've utilized it
              completely , or decide to return it as it's no longer
              useful for it's originally assigned purpose.
