OMG, Babies!!!!

My new babies
Their mum got killed by a dog :-(
And now they are living with me till the’re old enough to go back into the wild… I actually don’t agree with taking in orphened animals, unless they’re an endangered species or something, nature should be able to run it’s course. However, these babies were found a day before I got them and had already been taken very good care of, you can’t just turn that down, now can you? ;-)
For now, they are named Scrappy and Happy :-) (Yes, I know, don’t name them, you will attach yourself to them much to much and such)
Muffin-decapitating-boy declared Scrappy to be his favorite, Scrappy is the biggest one, both in physique and in apetite ;-)
Tonight, for the first time, they drank all by themselves, I didn’t have to hold them, they just followed the syringe around when I would try to fill it with more milk :-)
I have to go to the hospital tomorrow for a little visit to the ear, nose and throat doctor, I will ask them if they have syringes bigger than the 2ml I currently have in stock, because they drink like little champs!
I will take some more pics tomorrow morning, so you guys can keep track of their growth :-)
I should have weighed them tonight, but I still don’t have scales that are precise enough. (The scales have to be able to measure precisely up to two grams, anyone has some of those that I could borrow for a while?)
Kitty has not showed any interest so far in the cage that is currently on the dinner table, Jael on the other hand wants to lick them to death whenever I take them out, even though she got neutered two weeks ago, she still thinks she has babies :-)

Awwww, such precious little bunnies!
You’ve taken on quite a job, raising those two, but you should do just fine I think.
I look forward to seeing how these two grow up :)

Yeah, me too, if only I had some more time to take picutres of them more often :-(
God, I’m so busy, my social life is living me at the moment.
Right now, my days consist of getting up, hopping under the shower, cooking water, making milk, feeding bunnies, feeding outside bunnies, skipping breakfast, walking dong, working, going home, walking dog, cooking water, making milk, feeding bunnies, going out, going home, walking dog, cooking water, making milk, feeding bunnies, feeding outside bunnies, sleeping and then all over again :-(
I kind of like it partially though :-)
It’s all great fun, but all the fun stuff feels like an obligation right now.
