Coffee hell
I’m in coffee hell!
This morning around 10, our old coffee machine was turned off, it wasn’t till 11 that an email was sent to notify us that our new machine was ready for use.
Of course the lack of coffee in that particular hour is bad, very bad…
I longed for a nice freshly mixed cup of milk powder, freeze-dried coffee and hot water…
After lunch, I decided to give the new machine a go. I think it might need some tweaking, as everything you get out of it tastes like they accidentally forgot to actually add coffee and you’re just drinking water mixed with whatever was left in the machine. The espresso (to me) tastes like I tried to make an extra batch of coffee out of coffee that already had been used (easy mistake to make early in the morning, but I was on a learning curve and never made the same mistake again)
A colleague referred to the same espresso as pretty strong, so I guess it’s my geeky lack of coffee related taste-buds that makes me perceive the coffee as incredibly watery…
I’m a bit sad now though, there are plenty of colleagues with their own espresso makers, and I *could* bring a pack of espresso over from home so I can brew my own, but this new machine was hyped to the max. it was supposed to be the “tastes better than freshly ground coffee”-machine, I’m incredibly disappointed :-(

I’m *NOT* addicted to caffeine (anymore), trust me, I know what I’m talking about.
I do however like the taste of coffee, and that’s exactly what I miss completely with this new setup :-(

Arjan, it’s 10:26 now, it’s my week to be in at nine and I still haven’t had any coffee… I can easily go without, I just like the taste of it… If there is any, so I’m sticking to tea till there’s a new machine :-)
Steffen, if I wasn’t completely happy with someone else already, I would have proposed to you on the spot ;-)
But you’re welcome to deliver said goods to me anyway ;-)
