Da cuteness!

So, Norma-Jean didn’t come for dinner yesterday evening, she had a severe case of gas. I found three butter-croissants in the enclosure. I’m guessing Norma-Jean ate the most, followed by John, as he is a little over proteined, and Manson hardly had any (running around like crazy)

Off to the vet at 1 AM, 100,41 Eu less in my bank account (and that doesn’t include the 40 Eu taxi fees) and one rabbit still alive :-) Rabbits with gas need a lot of attention, and need to be kept warm…
On the picture you see John (the gray one on the left) and Norma-Jean on my lap. The pink thing is a towel, the thing over her is a sleeping bag to keep her warm. As I picked him up to keep her company (he’s a real sucker for attention), he started cuddling and as I put him down, he fell asleep immediately :-)
She’s doing a little bit better with all the meds she’s getting. She is even washing herself as I’m typing this, so she is doing a little better, but her belly still feels bloated.

Meanwhile, Manson is running around like crazy, exploring *everything* at a frightening speed :-) John by now has decided to join him. You can tell John is getting a bit older though. He’s about 6 years old now, and he’s just not as rambunctious as Manson, who is about two and a half :-)
Jael is quite happy with all the livelyhood around her, every time Manson jumps on the couch she starts licking his ears like she used to do when he was still a single rabbit (before he was neutered)

And after all that running around, Manson *had* to steal Jael’s dogbed :-)
Unfortunately it doesn’t show on this picture, but he’s lying on his side, feet streched out in front of him, and he keeps doing it too!
Every time I get closer or in the right position to take a shot of him lying like that, he desides to sit up and look at me in a way that says “Hey, whatcha want?!”
I tried to get a shot that shows how big the dogbed is, as if I zoomed in on Manson, you would have had a better view of him, but no idea what he was lying on :-)
I took the dogbed away though, it’s made of fabric and contains styrofoam balls, I don’t want to risk them breaking it and getting sick from ingesting either the fabric or the balls…
When I’m there tomorrow, they can have some more supervised play on the giant rabbit fatboy ;-)
