Fairy-tales and crispness
This morning, as I was walking Jael, the world looked like a fairy-tale land, all the grass and fall leaves were frosted over, and each individual strand of grass made me think of elvish popsicles…
The air was incredibly cold, it was already 9:30 and it was still freezing, but everything was so pristine and beautiful, the sheer look of it all enchanted me.
Jael, rambunctious as she is, went for a run and ran through (amongst other things) a sandbox, her paws didn’t leave any marks in sand that is otherwise so pliable. I decided to give it a go too, and I had to make an effort to make as much as an imprint on the frozen sand. (Which means the cold must have been pretty intense)
This was the first morning I really noticed the cold, I can’t say for sure it’s the first night we had temperatures below zero, but it certainly felt *really* cold.
Maybe that’s why I’m so cheerful, or it was the 11+ hours of sleep I had last night, or a combination, whatever it is, I feel like I’m on top of the world, I’m cheerful, I’m happy, and although my back hurts, suddenly it doesn’t appear to be so hard to live with it anymore :-)
Basically, I’m having a tremendously good day :-) The world is crisp, the music on my headphones is perfect for my mood and life can only go forward from here, nothing can possibly bring my mood down today :-)

Woohoo! Sounds great! :D Happy == Gooood.
And you know what that really sounds like?
Beer! (and other beverages)

I’m finally cheerful and you’re suggesting I should numb myself? ;-)
Tsssk, what strange ideas you have Steffen ;-)

No I’m saying you should go out with me!
(Damn I hate spelling things out)
:-)

Are you asking me out on a date???
Hmmm, I never would have suspected you like me that much ;-)
But I’m still not up and about yet :-( So not anytime in the near future, for now, going to work is my first priority, when that goes smoothly and I don’t have any pain when I come home, I might consider going out again.
Dancing is good though, dancing makes my back less painful, so I’m hoping to give that a go soonish :-)

I didn’t spell THAT much. I wouldn’t dare asking someone who’s already taken out on a _date_
Just out.
:-)
But, ohwell… beer at your place then.

Haha!
So you’re trying to get me drunk in the near vicinity of a bed? :-P
Haha, sounds like a fairly good plan though, will have to be this week or the week after next, and this week is fairly booked already :-)

We’ll see today if I’ll really be going.

Oh, I thought that was certain :-(
Sounds like great fun, but who would be taking care of Macbeth?
(That was his name right?)

At the moment I’m looking for a good (temporal) home for him. Someone’s kind of looking after him but it’s far from ideal.
